ELLIPSE FLAT EXTENSION
-
Special studied material, soft and natural.
-
The eyelash shape is flat ellipse. It has a grooving during rear, so that there is enough space which can keep glue making a completely grafting between natural and false eyelash.
-
The split tips can make it looks more natural like human lashes.
-
The ellipse eyelash extension is so soft such as thickness 0.07 mm and 0.05 mm.
-
Stable curl standard.
Long, full eyelashes help to accentuate the eyes and make them appear bigger. So, it’s no wonder that women everywhere dream of longer, thicker lashes. Until recently, the only way to achieve this was to apply false lashes in bundles, adhering them to the upper eyelid. Unfortunately, the result didn’t look very natural and required frequent reapplication.
Luckily, eyelash extensions have made it possible to achieve long, voluminous, natural looking eyelashes by applying an extension to each natural lash. At Mira’s Eyelashes, we specialize in this process and use the highest quality extensions combined with hypoallergenic adhesive to give you the sexy fan of lashes you’ve always dreamed of.

What to expect
Your first appointment at Mira’s Eyelashes will start with a brief consultation. During this time, we’ll let you know what type of natural lashes you have, what type of extensions are available and what eyelash shape will suit the natural shape of your eye. We’ll discuss your goals—whether you want dramatic lashes, natural-looking lashes, or something in between—and help you to select the right length and curl to achieve them. Of course, we would be happy to review this information with you and discuss different lash extension options during subsequent appointments as well. Just ask us!
Once we have a plan, we’ll prepare your eyes and lashes for application by cleansing them with a gentle tonic and covering your lower lashes with a gel under eye pad. To ensure prepping your eyes and lashes is smooth and efficient, it’s important that you come to your appointment without any makeup or other products on or around your eyes.
After we prep your eyes and lashes, we’ll begin applying your lash extensions using two sets of tweezers, one to isolate each lash and the other to apply the extensions. This process can take up to 2 hours during which time you’ll be lying comfortably on one of our leather chaise lounges with your eyes closed. This process is so relaxing that many clients sleep through it, waking up to a beautiful set of lashes!
Aftercare
Your new lash extensions are waterproof and can withstand normal daily activities. They will continue to look great for 3-4 weeks, depending on the strength of and texture of your natural lashes. As your natural lashes shed, your lash extensions will fall out with them. This natural shedding means that you’ll need to come in for a touch up about every 3 weeks.
Caring for your lash extensions is easy! Simply follow these basic rules to keep them looking great:
- Don’t wet your eyelashes for 24 hours after the procedure. This will give the glue an appropriate amount of time to cure. This means you should also avoid saunas, steam rooms and water activities during that period.
- Do not use waterproof mascara or oil-based makeup removers as they can weaken the adhesive of your lash extensions.
- Do not use eyelash curlers.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes vigorously.
- Avoid sleeping on your face.
- Don’t let the stream from your shower hit your face directly as the pressure can knock lash extensions loose.
- Customers who choose real mink lashes are advised to be careful when in contact with heat and should keep their lashes away from hair dryers, candles, and open flames.
Eyelash Extensions FAQs
What do Mira’s Eyelashes look like when applied?
Well, that’s up to you! Our applications range from natural-looking to voluminous and glam. Regardless of the application you choose, we’ll meticulously apply extensions to each of your natural lashes to give you a gorgeous fan of lashes.
Will the application be harmful to my natural lashes?
Not at all! We apply extensions to each of your natural eyelashes (without touching the skin) with a specially designed bonding agent developed exclusively for eyelash extensions. This technique is not harmful to your natural eyelashes. The adhesive dries very soft on lashes, allowing flexibility and comfort.
What holds my eyelash extensions in place?
We use a special waterproof bonding agent to apply extensions directly onto each of your individual lashes, not to your skin. The long-lasting glue is hypoallergenic and formaldehyde free, so it is safe and comfortable.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for my appointment?
Just one thing: try your best to arrive without any eye makeup on—do not curl your lashes or wear mascara the day of your appointment. This will minimize the clean up time and give us more time to apply your extensions.
How long do they last?
On the average person, a full set of Mira’s Eyelashes will ‘look good’ for approximately 3-4 weeks before requiring a refill. If you don’t come in for a refill at this time, they will continue to shed and completely fall out by 6-8 weeks. Some experience a much better retention rate but this depends on the texture and strength of the natural lash.
Do you recommend Eyelash Extensions for my wedding or for travel?
Yes! Eyelash Extensions will give you the freedom of looking beautiful without the fuss of mascara or eyelash curlers.
Are Mira’s Eyelashes safe?
Mira’s Eyelashes extensions are applied to your natural eyelashes using a gentle, hypoallergenic adhesive and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free, relaxing, and will not cause damage to your natural lashes.
How long will it take to apply Eyelash Extensions and how is it done?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes 2 hours with an experienced technician. You will lay comfortably on our chaise lounge with your eyes closed as your technician applies an under eye gel pad to cover your lower lashes. The extensions will then be applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed adhesive.
Can the eyelash extension be removed?
Yes, at any time for any reason! If you have had an improper eyelash extension application somewhere other than Mira’s Eyelashes or simply wish to remove them, we provide that service. It is a simple procedure that doesn’t take long and we have a specially formulated removal solution that will break down the glue and safely remove your extensions without damaging your natural lash. Please do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself as this can cause premature shedding of your natural lashes.
Are eyelash extensions suitable for everyone?
Anyone of any age can have eyelash extensions applied as long as there is a natural lash to glue the extension onto. Ladies who have undergone chemotherapy (and their lashes are starting to grow back) are a great candidate as well as people who wear contact lenses and glasses.
Eyelash Extensions after care
- Do not get your eyelashes wet for the first 24 hours.
- Do not use a spa, sauna or pool for the first 24 hours. The extensions need that amount of time to properly bond.
- Avoid pulling or rubbing your eyes.
- Do not use eyelash curlers with your extensions. With proper application you will not need them.
- ONLY use oil-free makeup remover.
- Use eye makeup very rear or never.
- Proper hygiene is very important. Please keep lashes clean by regular washing.
- After showering avoid rubbing lashes, it best to blot them up with a towel and let them air dry and then brush them.
- Use care when applying facial and eye creams to avoid the lash line. Too many oil-based products can break down the adhesive.
